If it's the jewelers screw up, make him go to whatever expense he has to to fix it. September 16 is over 3 weeks away, that should be ample time for a reputable jeweler to fix the problem. If it's his screw up, meaning you ordered rings in a size 8, but they came in a size 5, then he has to fix it, period. That's called doing good business and taking care of your customer. If that means he has to order in another ring, and pay to have it expressed shipped, oh well, that's the costs of being in business. If you don't get satisfaction from this jeweler, call the Better Business Bureau. Best of luck to you, I hope you can get it fixed in time, I think you can.

try a diffrent jewler if that don't work go to walmart and buy cheep matching gold bands to use in the service or you could do what my brother and his wife did they went to a local jewler store to get her ring fixed and it was a busy time they told them they where not going to be able to fix it and have it back when they needed it so he raised his voice and started saying he was going to tell all his family and friends about how bad the service was their and low and behold they fixed her ring right their on the spot and even gave them a giftcertificate for other items in the store so get loud when the store is busy and see how fast you get results good luck

go 2 a diffrent jewler , if that cant fix it by september 16th they have a serious time problem and do not have very good service, all the jewlers i know resize rings within 3-5 days, so try a diffrent store or jewler.

It takes them almost a month to size them!? Since it was the jewelers fault, I can't believe he's not bending over backwards to accommodate you. I think I would see what I could do to make him push this along somewhat. There's also the "option" of using stand-ins for the ceremony. But that might hamper the traditional picture of the hands and the rings. Politely make him realize what an inconvenience this is for you. The key is "politely". You catch more flies with honey than you do with sh**! So be nice, but be firm.

Check around in the local business district...You know that little strip in town where hardly anyone shops and it's a wonder any stores are there...well go down there and look for a jewler they probaly won't be as busy and can do it...Still no good..Call grandma or aunt sally one of them will know what to do more than likely...

If you're stuck with this jeweler, ask him to loan you a set of rings, of an equal or lesser monetary value, in your size, to use at the ceremony and returned when yours are ready.

If you can dump your current jeweler, call every other jeweler in town and ask if they can have them ready before your wedding date.

If not, buy a fake ring at Target that looks as much like it as possible to use at the ceremony. When the real rings are done, take the obligatory close-up-of-rings-on-hands-next-to-flower picture yourselves and use it as the cover of your thank-you cards.

Best wishes and congratulations.

Find another jeweler, that's over three weeks away. Why can't the original jeweler fix it in that amount of time? It takes about 15 minutes to fix this problem.

put it on a finger that it does fit on until you can get them resized. If you lived in Indiana, I could have my father-in-law do them for you tomorrow. It doesn't take that long to size a ring.....30 mins tops, but they may not have a jeweler on site. If I were you I would ***** and tell them to put a rush on it since they sized it wrong, its not your fault, and they are ruining your wedding day!

Depending on the metal, there are places that can size them "while u wait" in like shopping malls and stuff.

I would look at the order form from your current jeweler and make sure that the error was his (that he mis-sized them against what was on the order) and you should have grounds to get you rmoney back.

Any jeweller can size a ring in way less time than you need them... guess you picked the wrong shop.
