okay at the beginning of my sophomore year i could only bench like 150 pounds (my freshman year i ended with 175 but i didnt workout during the summer) and then after football season was over we maxed out and i got 195 pound!!! i really thought it was wierd cuz i havent worked out during the football season but we did do 10 push ups before practice. What could have made me go up that much??

Sounds like a growth spurt with an increase in muscle mass.

your probably had a groth spurt
plus your learning the right way to lift which increases your max

P.s. maxs is only getting one rep so the amount can always vary sometimes it depends on how much energy you have
(you might have been able to hitmor becuse you were welll rested)
