I am tired but bored and cant sleep yet

It really help having a camomile tea or something hot and curl up in bed either writting a diary or easy puzzle if not get up watch some tv and do you routine again; toilet turn of all lights and It sometimes helps covering up the digital clocks helped for me.

I go through that every day and for me, it's a different thing everyday like last night i couldn't go to sleep so I just listened to music and dozed off. Usually i take a shower and read a book in bed and go to sleep. I think taking a shower usually helps, but it might not be the case with u. It won't hurt to try though.

Switch off all lights. Light music in the background. Scent the room, if applicable. Concentrate on your breathing. And in no time ... zzzzzzzzzzzz

Read in bed, something boring like the manual to your vcr.

visualize a black board , and your hand writing on it, start at 1000, write it, erase it, then 999 erase 998 erase,,,, im bettin you will be soo bored you will be asleep before you get to 700,,, this works for me!

i lie in the bed with the lights off and day dream, or drink a glass of alize or i just watch t.v. until i fall asleep.

I put my head on my pillow and close my eyes. but no seriously when I am having trouble I play gentle music. Instrumental. not many words.
