maybe you can drink a warm cup of milk or a bowl of creamy soup or chamomile tea.something warm will alleviate the pressure and also give you better sleep.however,do not consume the tea together with ur medicine ya :)

I use NeilMed Sinus Rinse kit. I got it from my doctor, but I believe you can get it from a pharmacy.
Instead of using the medicine that comes with it, I put in a 1/2 teaspoon of non-iodize salt and a pinch of baking soda (that's what my allergist said to do). Then, I fill it up with warm water, shake it to mix it up and then shoot the solution into each nostril.
I'm not sure if it will help you. Most of my sinus problems come from not draining properly. So, it helps me greatly!

Have the doctor check for extra bony material in the sinus cavities that might be blocking the normal flow.also a deviated septum. both of which can lead to easier infections of the sinuses.
Sea salt nasal spray will help as will Eucalyptus oil and menthol as they are the main ingredients in most sprays ad slaves for opening the sinuses. also the old steam kettle.
since the bacteria can only survive within certain tempature ranges and pH levels . Changing this levels will help to kill off the bacteria. Try pinching the bridge of your nose for several minutes several times a day as this will raise the tempature in the cavities and help to put the bacteria in a weakened state so that you re immune system will be able to catch up with attacking the bacteria and riding the body of them. also raising the acid or alkaline level of your body's system Will help in making it hard for the bacteria to survive and multiply.

I had that problem for years...Terrible headache on the forehead and temples. I took Sudafed max strength during the day and Sudafed PM during the night. If I have runny nose, I would take Benadryl in addition to Sudafed. Try it. No prescription helps

My 4 y/o has the same problem and what helps him is a warm rag over his sinuses. I usually rotate it from his sinus to his forehead and that seems to sooth him.
It is worth a try.
Hope you feel better!!

A warm washcloth on the face will work wonders, or try steaming your face over a pan of boiling water. Take a hot shower and let the water run over your face for about 5 minutes.

Yes take 1/4 cup finely grated horseraddish and 1/4 cup honey and mix it and take one teaspoon six times a day. The horseraddish will break up the mucus and make it drain faster and the honey will coat the throat and make it taste better. dont put it directly on your nose under the skin because it will cause blisters on your skin.

Use a cold-mist humidifier. Cover your face and head with a towel, and let the mist go up into the towel and thus into your sinuses. It will re-hydrate the sinus cavity.

I opt for a professional massage when I get bad headaches. Please try it out. It helps with the tight pressure around your head and neck area experienced with sinus headaches.
