Sure why not. I was 39 when I started dating an 18 year old. You just have bear in mind that it in the long run it is not going last forever because of the age difference. However, indulge yourself while you can but be sure to treat the young lady with respect and all will end on a good note. Enjoy her. Pete

It's ok to do it, but unless she is mature beyond her years it will be painfully obvious painfully quick that she is in fact 22
Been there done that and although it can be a lot of fun just do that, have fun with it and don't expect a whole lot from it, but then who knows could be just what you both need

Its okay but she is young and really does not know what she wants out of life. Old soul or not, she is not ready to settle down. I would say if you are looking for anything more than casual dating you are going to get your heart broken.

i say go for it i have cousin who is 30 and her boyfriend is 58 you may get strange looks for a while and comments from family but if you tell them all that you care about her and age doesn't matter to you then go for it but if you asking then something is holding you back think long and hard about it before you jump the gun good luck

I think 22 year olds should definitely be sure about whom they want to be with. No one else should be looking to decide for her, shes a big girl.
