and please dont start the whole..just put them down. thats just annoying and i hear that all the damn time..and everytime ive tryed to put them down and walk away i get real bitchy and grab another ..HELP

Go get some gum from the chemist or try the patches.
And then quit cold, throw them out, think of the money you save and actually put it into an account. I smoked for 40 years and last year I said, it's way too much money for smokes and quit.
It was hard at first, you get the urge, but then you go away from what you were doing, do deep breathing, drink a glass of water and after about 5 minutes the urge passes. It will get less and less give your body time to get rid of the nicotine, drink lots of water to get the toxins out, surround yourself with non-smokers
eat plenty of fruit and after dinner, get off the table right away and take a little walk. Trust me it will get easier, the urge gets less and less and one day you find yourself smelling someone who just smoke and say, My God this is an awful stink and I used to smell like that.

laser therapy worked for my brother, and we we shocked...and he gained forty pounds (so far)...laser therapy, hypnosis, and every other kind of method my sister-in-law has tried and has failed.
There is no best way, only what will work for you. Whatever you do try, just prepare yourself to gain about 10-15% weight...example if you weigh 130 pound, that means a weight gain of 13-20 pounds. If you know up front that you then will deal with the weight, then you can better deal with smoking.

It's a mental thing, just DECIDE to do it and stick to the plan. It's about breaking the habits. Identify the sticks that you craved for the most (eg the one immediately after a meal etc) and avoid it like hell! Gradually you have no urge for them. It works for me ;-)

I have a sure fire way. pickout a cigarette from the pack and let it sit for a week and then smoke it. You will not want them again. It will taste horrible. This worked for me.

i understand it will be really hard and im not sure if this is gunna help but try it think about how they will kill you and by killing yourself your killing the life out of the people who love you. or the second hand smokeing will kill the ones you love think about killing some one do you really want do that imagine killing an innocent person. hope this helps!!!

my sisters quiting right now using the patch. she gas smoked for a long time and she says with the patch she doesn't even crave one

my friend just quit smoking...he used the nicoderm cq patches...they worked! then he only used a weeks worth and now he is not using one...try that
