There is no time frame set in stone before i would even consider marriage i would try living with the person.. You might love them but after living with them find out you can stand them.. Marriage is not something one should contemplate lightly

It depends on the relationship.
My husband and I were with other people when we met. We moved in after 2 weeks and got married after 9 months.
We have been happily married for 7 yrs and have 5 yr old twin Boys.

Well I was going out with man may for 4 mths before we got engaged. We knew that we were to be together and we loved each other so much. We got married 1yr and 3 weeks after we first met and have been married now for 4mths. Its so amazing and we love each other even more than before.
With some people, you just know. We knew. And we couldnt be happier.
His parents got engaged after 6weeks HA HA and i know someone else who got engaged about 2-3 yrs after going out....i guess it depends on the people involved and their feelings.

My husband and I got married after 2 1/2 years of dating, our relationship was like none other I have had or he has had...I was really secure with our relationship and still am, and happier than ever

Hm depending if you really love the person and know you want to spend the marriage life together but id say year ..year and a half maybe?

You know when it's right. My husband and I brought it up after only 3 months..but we're in our 40's, both have been married before (I'm widowed), and by instinct knew we were right for each other. Don't let others tell you it's too soon....you know when it's right.

If the relationship is stable and there is strong communication and strong foundation of love and trust... about 2-3 yrs
