I have brown hair, and gold colored highlights. I want to change from golden blonde to more of a light blonde. Will my new highlights cover all visible golden ones, or will the old ones still be visible. By the way: I having this done by a stylist not by myself.

It will depend if your highlights were pulled through a cap or foiled, and if by the same stylist. Through the cap,no.Foiled, most likely.
Ask your stylist and let her know you don't want any of the golden highlights left. First, she may do an all over color to go back to your natural color and then apply highlights, this way she can make sure you only have one color of highlights. Of course this is called a double process and it will cost more and take more time.

Best bet is to ask the stylist, Im not sure if she/he can cover all the golden up, it may have to mostly grow off, Id ask your person.. But actually, it might be pretty to go ahead, if you have a little of the remaining color, and as the hair grows you will be trimming it off.

the only way to cover all is to do an all over color, then do the highlights! and, it's good that you're going to a stylist...u will b happier with the outcome, and he/she will explain it all to u!!!
