well if l am you, l will go to a money changer over a raffles plave as they have better preveiling rates than the banks, you will be using you SGD to buy NZD hence you will have to look at buying, anyway the money changer will guide u alone, scout a few changers and see whom gives the best rate but normaly the diff is marginal. As raffles place the changers there are pretty honest, try the one at Arcade, cos therre is two the one on the right, wz the old bearded man, they are very nice, l always change my money wz them, also have a good trip

Agreed with firefly. Just remember that you are always on the disadvantage end, you always buy expensive and sell cheap. The difference is made by the money changer called "spread".

"we buy" is the rate the bureau will pay for your currency.
"we sell" is the rate the bureau will sell you currency for.
Whether buying or selling you will always get the lower rate.

If you are buying NZD, check the selling rate at the board, if you are selling NZD, check their buying rate.
