It will fade over time. Color won't lift color. I wouldn't bleach it cause then you're gonna get orange. You may be able to put a color over the orange, but it's always going to fade back to orange. Black is one of the hardest colors to remove. You're asking for trouble if bleach it yourself. Just suffer and let it grow out and when it fades to a really ugly color ...try the color you want it may not work for awhile so be patient

Black dye is very hard to get out or even bleach out. You just have to wait till in grows out. You can try going to a salon and see if they have anything to help, but they will pretty much tell you the same thing about black. Sorry.

you basicly have to strip out the color you can use a bleach but be careful if you leave it on too long you can really do some damage, after you have stripped out the black then you can go ahead and put the brown back in (dont forget to use a deep conditioner)

i truely suggest a salon, because i have done the same thing but if you insist on trying yourself, you can go to sally beauty supply or something similar and get a "stripper" for your hair, it will strip all color from your hair and then you buy the shade of color you want and reapply, very damaging to your hair, buy good conditoner and hot oil treatment often

the only way is through salon, or wait until it' starts to fade and lose color. then give it a try.

there are some hair strippers you can find in beauty supply stores. they peel the color off or something. i must admit i've never tried one. my hair is thin and i'm scared to thin it even further.
yeah, its terrible that you didn't like your new color. it happens. but at least, now you know.
