For a person to be diagnosed with Post Tramatic Stress or any kind of psychological issues, it would require at least 6 months of observation of the person's behaviour, whether there are any changes in the person's life/ surroundings, psychological testings, etc. Post Tramatic Stress is caused by an event that has caused great disturbance to the person. If the person is a young girl or who has been forced to go into prostitution, then I think it could be possible that it may lead to PTS.

Being a prostitute, in and of itself, would not qualify one to get a 'PTSD' diagnosis. It is possible, of course, for some of the experiences to lead to suffering PTSD.

It wouldn't be because they were a prostitute but could indeed be because of an experience (or series of experiences) they had while being a prostitute.

Anyone can be diagnosed with PTSD. As long as the person meets the criteria, it doesn't matter what their profession was.

Yes that could be possible. Especially if she was very young or forced into it, or if she didn't like it or want to do it anymore.

Maybe if she / he was forced into it. Other-wise it's highly unlikely.

OMG - give me a break! Seems like people will make up any excuse they can for their bad behavior!
