I have often thought about this. All I can say though, is just wait I guess. I mean, if you are that wanting to, that you must definatly have it, then go ahead, but tell your guy first. He might have a resolution, or problem with it. If not, periods dont always last that long. deal with it, and wait. Then do it.

Do it if you want to, and not if you don't. Orgasms can ease menstrual cramping (a plus), you've extra lubrication (often a plus), and if you're feeling sexy you're not usually feeling blue (also a plus). If you're feeling blue, irritable, or just like not being touched,don't be pressured into having sex. Do use a condom or dental dam if oral sex is involved, do tell your partner so they can be attuned to your needs (especially if your breasts are tender you may want less direct stimulation there than usual) and yeah, the towel suggestion or older sheets are not a bad idea.

I would suggest not doing it. Sex while menstrating has been directly linked to causing endometriosis, they refer to this as, "retrograde menstruation". and what this is, is the flow being directed back into the body. you can read more about it on the link i've included. Let your body rest. It's what nature intended and mother nature can be a ***** when you piss her off. Hope this helps. :)
