There is nothing wrong with circumcising!
You are all ready sounding like you want your son circumcised. In that case you really may regret it if you don't circumcise him. I had my sons circumcised after my youngest brother had tons of problems with his foreskin and needed to be circumcised!
It is much easier on a baby and its a good preventative step to future problems!
Lots of love,
Sara

Well up until now I have thought that circumcise procedure was just a religious thing and a choice of the parents. Then this year after the Conference on HIV in Montreal just this month, has concluded, that the circumcisions be done. Study have reported that there were high risks for the uncircumcised than the circumcised individual in contracting and spreading this decease.
So now besides, being cleaner, and looking better, there is some documentation from the medical community that circumcision is more than practical by being reducing the chances of spreading or contracting this horrible decease.
So for me that is good enough. Do your part for the world health and have your son circimcised.

Only get him circumsized if he has a long foreskin. Infact if you leave some foreskin he'd be better off. There are lucky uncut guys who natually have short foreskins.
The foreskin should be left partially because it will protect the gland from drying out, becoming desensitzed and he won't need a bottle of lube every time he needs to maintence himself.
Flacid the skin should just cover the penile head no more, and be able to stay under the penile head rim when he unsheaths it by it's self. Erect it would be fully retracted, resting below the head aswell. Some uncut guy are lucky enought to be this way naturally but too much foreskin is unsightly and scares American women.
The foreskin has a lot of pleasure nerves
It makes sex more comfortable for the women and promotes lubrication...... just do some reasearch or at least ask you doctor to show you some example and his opinion
And with this, no girl would ever know the difference by looking, but he'd notice.

Not to be a downer but I had my oldest circumcised and It was horrible. I vowed to never have my future sons circumcised. There were complications where the skin that was left had kept healing to the head. It was so painful for my son every time the doctor had to force it back. I couldn't bring myself to do it myself. I was so angry that it was happening. The doctors told me I wouldn't have to deal with that if I got it done. They said it was easier to take care of. That is a complete lie! My intact son is much easier to take care of. All I have to do wash what I see. I don't need to force anything back. I just had a baby girl she's even more difficult to clean than my circumcised son. Not to mention that the supposed pros to being circumcised are a bunch of horse sh*t. All the crap about STD's. Even if it were true, sorry but I'd rather teach my child to be responsible for his actions not chop off his foreskin. Anyway, that's my experience with circumcision. If you decide to do it I hope your experience is way better than mine.

It's really a cultural/visual thing. There is no real medical benefit to doing it. However, if you don't do it, then your son will be different from most other kids. Some women may find it unappealing or unattractive. On the other hand, studies have shown that uncircumcised men are better lovers!
I've never heard of a man who was circumcised who wished he hadn't been. On the other hand, all the uncircumcised men I've known have said that are glad they didn't get it done.
Just do what you feel most comfortable with.

I don't have a son, but i've always heard from friends and family that boys should always be circumcised. The #1 reason is they would be less prone to infection versus the child that is not circumcised. One of my best friend's son had 4 infections before he was circumcised at age 2. He was in a lot of pain whenever he had to urinate. You do not want your son to experience this pain. Bottom line do it now while he's still a baby.

Why on earth do you want to remove the skin covering the glans of the penis. It's there for a purpose. It protects the most sensitive skin on a males body and you want to remove it. WHY? Look as long as you clean his genitals well when you bath him and teach him to do the same as he gets older, everything is fine. Gees if you arent Jewish leave the thing intact.
As far as increasing the spread of HIV is concerned, be a responsible parent and along with your partner, teach him the principles of safe sex. A condom is going to protect him against ALL STD's a damn sight better than removing the foreskin will.

If you do go through with it at this early age, he won't remember the pain. His penis will be easier to clean without the foreskin on it. I'd say go for it.
