I think there's some states where it's not legal, but usually the states nearby don't have laws against it. The only state that I know for sure that it's not legal is South Dakota. I think it should be. Not really even because I think that a woman should have all rights over her body (I think that people who use abortion as birth control or have more children than they want or can afford should be sterilized), but more because it won't stop just because it's not legal. More people will die or harm themselves either trying to do an "at home" abortion, or going to what they used to call "back alley" doctors. I don't think making things that we find immoral illegal is the best way of dealing with it. Just look at prohibition, 50's abortion laws, and the war on drugs. None of them have worked and only served to increase crime and to hurt innocent people in the process.

It is legal right now in the United States, but it shouldn't be. (Remember, slavery was legal at one point, too. The Supreme Court ruled that blacks were not "persons," just as they now say that unborn babies are not "persons.") Take a look at:

NO.IT IS MURDER!Do you know that they stick a huge needle like tube into the baby's brain.
Oh please don't even make me get started.
How could any human with a heart stop a baby's life.A poor innocent baby.Yeah yeah
I'm tired of hearing well what if I was raped.
Doesn't matter, the baby is not guilty so just have it and give it up for adoption.The whole thought of abortion makes me sick.It makes me cry for all of those baby's who were killed by choice.And almost all women who do have abortions will regret it and have this terrible guilt haunting them forever.Abortion is not
