I would rather watch a standard definition image on a 24" display than a HD source on a 15" display because at these sizes HD will be of very little concern. I would rather increase my enjoyment by making my image as large as I can.
HD itself is only really around because TV technology hasn't changed much since it's inception and the demand for larger displays is growing considerably which also demands higher resolution. Although you may get more vibrant images and a slightly sharper picture with HD on a small screen, I really don't feel it is even worth bothering with unless your screen size is 30" or above, maybe even 40". I know that I would love to have HD for my projector (presuming it was a HD capable machine) since the size of my image is 118" diagonal!

Your really not gonna get the true benefits of an HDTV until you get into the 30"+ range, go for the SDTV or save money until you can afford a larger HDTV!

It makes no sense to watch HDTV on a 15" TV. I'm surprised that there is one that small available. To get the benefit of HDTV, you need a 30" screen or larger.
