the best thing for a hangover, believe it or not, is a little bit of alcohol. a hangover is basically your body going through alcohol withdrawl so as soon as you give your body what it craves, you start to feel better. however, dont go and chug beers or take shots....try something like a weak bloody mary that has other substantial ingrediants in it to help your body cope with the hangover.

also, be sure to drink alot of water cause your body is dehydrated from the nite before. but contrary to what people say, avoid gatorade or sports drinks because they actually contain a significant amount of sugar which can upset your stomach more. and always avoid things with caffeine when youre hung over cause caffeine is a diuretic (that means it will make you pee more and become even more dehydrated)...that includes soda, tea, and coffee.

Try to head off a hangover before you drink...
B-complex vitamins will do this.
Also, pace yourself when you drink.
The next day when you wake up at 3 in the afternoon, with one cigarette (broken) 12 Bic lighters and a single wadded up $1 bill in your pocket, take another B-complex vitamin tablet, and drink plenty of water, or better yet Gatorade to replenish the lost electrolytes, car keys, virginity, reputation, etc.
(OK It won't work for the last three...!)
Some swear by the "hair of the dog that bite you", only you
can be the judge of that.
Finally, if you can, eat something.
Again, the best thing for a hangover is prevention.
Be smart, and enjoy yourself!

Most of your hangover symptoms are because you are dehydrated. I always drink plenty of water between drinks at the bar, and right before bed. This usually helps prevent a hangover for me in the first place, plus if you are ordering water, you appear to be a more responsible drinker and you will be less likely to get cut off.

But if I feel hung over, I drink a lot of water. Gatorade is good but nothing works as well as good clean water.

When I'm going to get drunk, I dont eat (except snacks). I wait till I'm finished drinking, and have a full on meal, no matter what time it is and not a bag of chips or something, Like prepare something for you to munch on after your night, before you start, then wash it down with a big glass of water. Then wake up and have a full on healthy breakfast, it'll also restore your energy. You'll be hangover free.

When I know I'm going to drink, I chase each one with a glass of water, then before I go to sleep, I take an asprin with a lot of water. The next day you drink more water, another asprin, and a big bowl of Menudo!!

The best thing would be to not drink / get drunk again so that you don't have to deal with the consequences. Next time it could be something worse as a result of your irresponsibility.

Don't drink...and if you must. Drink as much water as you possibly can and take 2 tylenol before going to sleep.

A big part of the hangover is due to dehydration.

Time and the hair of the dog that bit you. Don't drink too much. A beer or a glass of wine will help.

Before you go to sleep, have a peanut butter and mayo sandwich with a Coke. It really works.
