Dear this is called Indian society and culture.
Atleast if we cannot change this mentalism of men right now, let us try to train our sons to leave their male ego adjust and love their wifes when they will get married when they are young.
It is responsibilty of mother, to train and make son understand the feelings and emotions of female. Problems which she face.
Once our sons become used to this, for sure after 20-50 yrs this can be changed.

There is no such thing as a 'perfect' human being. We feed off our partner's emotions and behaviour. Don't fret. Try communicating more and compromising a little too - both of you. It will be fine. Having the freedom to do as you wish results from your partner being able to trust you. Perhaps you have given your husband something to feel insecure and mistrusting about. Think about it. Yes, partners should be best friends. That is what makes the relationship work. To be happy you need to understand each other and be prepared to compromise.

I go with Jagan48. He is true. Its just a man's ego. but I have also to say that it is the mistake of women too. She should make him understand that his egoism is intolerable. Indian women seldom thinks of living alone and that is the only reason for men to take them for granted. The insecure life of a divorcee woman makes the man to go still more egoistic and think that his lady can't live without his help. A day will come soon when women rebel to live alone. dont worry.
