Why tough liquor laws when It comes to licensing here in California. No one can legally sell alcohol between the hours of 2:00 am and 6:00 am.
It's defiantly not worth the fine, and/or lose of a very expensive license.

State law. Some of States can't even sell them on Sunday, like State of Arkansas...People just cross the Stateline to other side of street to buy liquors or beers.

Sometimes because the state law prohibits the sales of liquor after certain time, others because their policy especify hours of operations to the owner or just because overnight the owner would lose more money paying for the employee's salary than the money that he would make trying to sell throught "dead" hours.

Ever hear about the death of Bon Scott? How about Brian Jones? Edgar Allan Poe ring a bell or a song somewhere? Jim Morrison? John Bonham possibly? Steve Clark?
And how about 5 millions deaths and counting with over 50 million injuries, including myself, my dad and the drunk who hit us?

Some are, but the ones that aren't, there are various reasons, from not wanting people drinking all the time to economics or lack of manpower to keep it open all day long.

The hours of operation are always determined by state laws and vary from state to state. Maybe they are open 24 hrs. somewhere.

In CA, you can't sell alcohol between 2am and 6am,
Some states don't even allow you to buy alcohol on Sunday's Such as Georgia.
You want to drink 24 hours a day..buy it ...and drink at home!
The drink is the same..the buzz is the same..enjoy!!!
