I lost both of my parents to those cancers. My dad had esophageal cancer and the main symptom is difficulty swallowing, or a feeling that food is getting stuck in your throat. As for stomach cancer, most often the first symptom is constant stomach pain. Other symptoms are heartburn, nausea, indigestion.

My father is a 3-time throat cancer survivor so I've learned a lot on the subject. Trouble swallowing, talking or eating are all possible symptoms. You should see your doctor, especially if you are or have ever been a smoker.

There are so many kinds of cancer and so many other things that can go wrong in the stomach and throat.
Please see a doctor if there is anything suspicious going on in you, or someone you love.

Tightness in your throat and the inability to swallow as well as you once did.
There are other things that cause these symptoms too. My Dad had these symptoms and he had cancer. My Aunt has them and has GERD. (acid reflux)
Nerves can also cause you to feel tight when swallowing and they can cause you to have stomach problems.

paste this on your browser and indicate your symptoms. Go to a Doctor. It is most likely nothing serious.

For your own peace of mind, see your doctor. Knowing is better then worrying about it. You probably need a check-up anyway.
