Yes there is a way to stop it but you have to admit you have a problem and you need to seek professional help. If you are a teenager then have your parents make appointment to see a psychologist and if you are not a teenager then you see one. Or go to a clinic to find one if the cost is to much.

You need to let your feeling out and tell someone how you feel about this terrible thing that happened to your friend. You have to understand that you are not responsible for her death and she was very depressed, if you were not trained you would never suspected it or you would never have seen it coming.

I understand exactly how you feel as I have had one of my best Friends commit suicide. It is always in the back of my mind but I have been able to get over the guilty feelings, that I should have done something. But I was only a teenager and didn't really see the signs or understand how deep the problem was.

Seek help as soon as you can as you are having the reoccurring dreams due to your sub-conscience, as you feel deep down you could have or should have help her in some way. It is not your fault.

Good Luck

Honey you may need to see a therapist to help you get over what is going on with you. Obviously this person that ended your life meant a great deal to you or you wouldn't care. A therapist may be able to help you cope with the situation a little better, maybe its time to do this now before this completely ruins you. You keep dreaming about it because it obviously had such a deep impact on your life and your self conscious and this is the reason why you can't seem to get over this. Honey please ask for help now so that you may work this out. Don't get discouraged if you don't feel relief overnight these things take time for the mind to heal but please ask for help.

We can't control our sub conscious but you may try doing something pleasant before going to sleep. Reading something positive or listening to uplifting music. I think trauma causes us to have dreams and you were really traumatized so, even though it hurts and it is upsetting it may be something you have to go through. Time is a great healer, you will never get over it but with time you should have these dreams less often. Pray before bedtime also, ask God to please help you get through this and not bring it into your thoughts when you are sleeping. I will pray for you too.

I cannot give you advice...but a counselor can or psychologist can. There may be contributing issues that you have that make you have this repetitive dream...you need to ask for professional help...that is a scary dream you are having and I am very sorry about your friend...that is incredible trauma you have experienced....good luck.

You need to see a therapist, regarding this situation. I agree, that the main reason, you continue to keep dreaming this dream, is due to your "inability" to have been able to stop your friend, from killing, herself. So, you keep replaying it over and over in your mind. People experience guilt and grief, sometimes, very similarly. In beginning to "forgive", yourself, and to "stop" punishing yourself, you will find, a weight has been lifted from your sholders. Again, seek out either a grief therapist, or just a family therapist. Good Luck!

Your desire is still that you want to have saved her. Such a desire is causing your thinking to focus on this event. And dreams are simply thinking in pictures.

To get rid of the desire, is to be rid of the dreams. It's the only way, and it may require some time.

i've got been advised approximately 10000 circumstances that i'm no longer a actual Christian (TM) via fact my ideals do no longer fall in with the extremist social gathering line. I share a number of your perspectives. I carry citizenship in an earthly usa (united states of america of america). there are various paths to God. I take part in the two Christian and non-Christian rites. i'm no longer petrified of non-Christian impacts. I refuse to apply my faith as an excuse for bigotry and hatred. besides, congratulations for no longer attempting to shove the Divine right into a one-length-suits-all container.

Talking about it's good. I've know people that killed themselves. It's a horrible thing to think about. 6 years ago is a long time, and you need to get help. I think you need to find a way to get closure.
