My parents are 11-years apart. Dad just took a little longer to reach the same maturity level as my mother. I still wonder about him sometimes, but they're still happy 20 some odd years later.
I say go for it. You are still incredibly young and shouldn't be afraid to take chances. Have fun. Teach the pup a few things. Even if it ends badly atleast you had fun and won't regret never taking the plunge.

It's only an issue if you make it one. Most men that age are still very immature, but we're all different and it might be that you've found a good'un. If as you say, you're already getting on really well then just enjoy it. Just be careful, make sure you're honest with each other, no matter what, and I'm sure you'll do just fine together. Good luck - hope it goes well for ya.

quit worrying about it and go for it... 7 years isn't that big of a gap if everything else in the relationship is what you want of it.
My husband is 7 years my senior and we've been together over 10 years (married 8 of those). His parents have been married 40 years and there is 11 year difference there.
There needs to be a better reason then just age to NOT go for what you found!!

Go for it - you are both adults and you deserve to have happiness. Why should you care about age at this point in your life anyways? It's not like he's jail bait. Besides, age gets more and more relative as you get older. When you are 48, he'll be 41 - that barely seems like a difference, right?
Enjoy and have fun!

age is obviously a matter if you're so bothered about it that you're posting a question on here asking for an opinion. i once went out with a girl 10 yrs older than me. to me it wasnt a problem, but to her it was a really big deal and she would get really upset about it. long story short, we broke up bcos she wasnt happy in the relationship. so rather than "is the age gap too big?" maybe the question is, are u happy in ur relationship?

Stop worrying and go for it. My husband is only 3 years younger than me, but he is feeling older than me. It is a well known fact that girls are a little ahead of boys when they mature, but I think it is overseen that the boys takeover the girls at some point. Women also live longer. My concern for you is though, if he is to young now to commit himself.

That's really not an issue just as long as you love him enough and that its a good relationship..and also that he knows your 28 yrs old because if you lie, it just ends up in a big mess. But thats really not an issue you don't have to worry.
