My fiance and I are have some problems. He has been locked up for two years. Lately he has become paranoid of my male friends (most of whom I've known since high school). He wrote me and told me that he didn't want me hanging out with any guys period. Should I do this or tell him to take a hike?

I think so....because if he loves you then he should be able to trust you...but it looks like he doesn't so I think you should leave him...you deserve someone who's able to trust you wholeheartedly...

Move on do you really want to begin life with someone with a criminal history. You deserve better. He is being controlling from his cell what is he going to be like when he out. OK so he feeling a bit left out of your life by being inside he should have thought of that before he did what ever he did. These sort of relationships are hard as you already know but being with a control freak in the real world is worse at least you now don't have to put up with him every day

sounds too controlling to be healthy. being locked up must induce some pretty intense emotions, and i can understand why he might be getting a little paranoid and crazy, but this is really not going to be good for you. that kind of manipulation and control can turn into an abusive relationship pretty easily. i'd say you're better off without him.

Depends on when he's getting out of prison. If it's in the next six months and you like him enough, wait.

If not, go ahead and cut him loose because chances are he's only going to get MORE paranoid because your friends are on the outside and he's on the inside feeling helpless.

Hello. Why would you put your life on hold for years? I hate to be cruel but maybe it is time for a reality check. Is this guy going to be any better after he is released? Does he really care about you or is it better you than nobody?

He should take a hike. He is trying to control you and that's not ok.

leave him. paranoia about guy friends is the first step in becoming a super control freak. if you let him have his say in this, soon he'll be controlling everything else. no relationship is worth losing your friends. and no relationship requires absolute obedience. it sounds to me he doesn't care about you.
