there is this miniDV player just like the old vhs player, but it's worth a fortune. next is a dvd recorder that has a miniDV deck as well and it cost a fortune too.
Better stick with the camcorder or have those videos transferred to a cd; then you can use the tape again to shoot another footage.

whatever you choose it's cheaper than getting a miniDV player or a dvd recorder with miniDV deck.

Yes, depending on what kind of tape you are using. MiniDV are the most popular tape style right now you are not going to find a tape adapter to just plug into your VCR (like mentioned below) because the width of the tape is too narrow. But there is a special VCR like device that will play the tapes for you they are called miniDV decks.

These are a few links to get your search started, but you can search farther there are many other sites where you can compare many prices of these MiniDV Decks, but BEWARE, DVCAM is not the same as MiniDV neither are S-VHS, Hi8 or Digital8, so make sure you know what kind of tape your camcorder shoots with before you make your decision.

I believe there are videos available where you can put the mini video inside a VCR tape, sort of like an adapter which allows you to play the video in a VCR.

There are min-DV decks around but they are very expensive. There even used to be one made to fit inside your computer case in a 5 1/4" bay. I haven't seen one of those for years. They might not make them anymore.
