Freshman depends how big golf is in your area average I would say break 100 and work hard and they will let you stick around. Now to make the top 5 low 80's to high 70's playing USGA rules.

fairly a lot all extreme college events contain practising on a daily basis. i became varsity from freshman through senior 3 hundred and sixty 5 days and we practiced day by day after college in the spring. Our prepare consisted of taking section in 9 holes.. it truly is it. golfing might want to be an excellent form of exciting once you've a coach who would not bypass to the extremes of educating lol. We basically did 9 hollow tryouts spread out for the entire week. The reduce for JV became round a 40 2 for the 9 hollow known. Our practices weren't that extreme. We were out of school through 3 and carried out with prepare through 530-six hundred. i'm no longer positive how your coach will habit prepare, even with the undeniable fact that it should not be any more than that. i'd not enable it outcome your decision.

Depends on the quality of the team, but mid 80's to high 80's to get a spot. I played 2 years on a team that made state's twice, I shot mid to low 80's and played 4th or 5th man on the team.

If you are a "bogey golfer" (you average a bogy per hole) you may have a decent shot at making the golf team. A lot of it depends on the size of the school. Larger schools will obviously have stiffer competition for the golf team.
