there could be a problem he just does not think you need to know about or maybe would not understand... or maybe he just does not know how to explain it to you... I suggest you call him 1 more time and just straight out ask him what is up.... tell him how ya feel , short and to the point..... make the first move... parents are not always right, we just do the best we can....... God bless

I think you have a right to be upset with him....I dont think it is anger, though. Sounds more like " Very Dissappointed" Wait till he calls again and tell him he hurt your feelings. I wish you all the best. Appreciate the parents you have at home too. Ask them to go get your bike. Take Care, hun.

If he normally tells you that would lead me to believe that something is going on and for some reason he does not want you to know (personal, work, not wanting to hurt you, etc.). One of the easiest ways to get to the bottom of things is to write a letter to the person. Tell him what you are felling and how concerned you are. Do not come across as judgmental, just come across as you have to all of us. A concerned daughter who does not understand what is going on. Good luck.

You met him 3 years ago - yet, "he usually tells you if somethings up"?
You are only kidding yourself. He is not going to change and he is only going to mess with your head. He is not reliable, or dependable.
Maybe there is a real good reason that he just decided to show up one day and try to pretend to be a dad to you know. My guess is that he just got bored and you (part-time parenting) was something to try for a while.
Enjoy him while he is around, but don't count on him or rely on him or trust his word - you already know all that in your heart if you are honest with yourself.
It is NOT your fault - sounds like he just never grew up.

It looks like you have a healthy relationship. Use it to get to the bottom of things and ask him what's up with his missing out on his promises to you. You seem like someone who's matured enough to understand what's going on.

Maybe you need to have a heart to heart talk with your Mom. If she doesn't know what is the matter with him, maybe she could give you some good advice.
