Without a doubt in my mind i would Have to say trust
Its what the relationship lives and feeds on...
The level of trust should grow more and more throughout the relationship....If you are losing trust with your partner as the relationship goes on then its probably time you and your partner sit down and talk about things........

Trust. Without it you have nothing. With it you know you are not being cheated on, made a fool of, disrespected, used, and you wouldn't be doing any of those things to anyone else. You would be honest and get out of the relationship without doing anything like that to another person. I would rather someone tell me the truth about everything and trust them to do that than to be led around like a fool and I would be the first one to tell someone the truth and have them trust that I would do that. So, it all boils down to trust.

I WOULD DEFINITELY SAY THAT THE RELATIONSHIP WOULD HAVE TO HAVE A GREAT FOUNDATION BUILT ON TRUST. INITIALLY TRUST FROM THE FRIENDSHIP=TRUST IN THE RELATIONSHIP.
