Wow. I'm actually from Lincoln, NE (1 hour away from Omaha)and just took a trip in June to California.
Take 15 through Las Vegas, NV.
Continue through southern Utah until you hit 70 east.
Take 70 east across the rest of Utah.
Pass through Colorado until you hit Denver.
In Denver take 76 East which turns into 80 east eventuallly on the border of Colorado and Nebraska.
Follow 80 east all the way to Omaha.

If you are coming fromaround san Fransisco get on I-80 and head east. It will take you right into Omaha. If coming from LA area take I-10 east to I-15 north/Las Vegas then US-189 to road changes to US-40 north to. I-80 east towards Cheyene and that takes you into Omaha. It is a long car ride, so if you dont want to do that, I would sugguest flying. But, other wise I would say find where I-5 is, and take it to Sacramento Ca. From there you can take I-80 East for a very very long time to go off in the right direction. Otherwise, Good Luck!

Where in cali? You'll need to trace a route up to I-80. Bring cold drinks and sunscreen, you'll
be needing them.
