So you want Microsoft to provide you with free updates to software you stole from them? Maybe I'll steal your car then ask you for gas money.

Yes, they do make cracks that will bypass the Microsoft Windows Genuine Validation Tool, and alow you to install all the updates and service packs.

Yes. Buy Windows XP Home for $285au for Windows XP Home. SP2 or put up with no updates,

I am no fan of Microsoft, but they deserve payment for thier updates, and the best way to do that is to buy thier OS.

Configure Automatic Updates. Last time I checked, you could still get them that way. It takes awhile,but it's better than nothing.
You can also order SP2 on disk from Microsoft. All you do is pay $1.65 S&H

my computer whiz networked with my computer via IP address and registered my copy with her validation number... ask someone to do the same for you.
