You may think 'Oh that's a really dumb question' or 'It's so easy' but think about it. People tell me chicken parts, Dog ____ (not gonna say it for you people eating while reading this) and Us.

I saw a programme about this and it is really gross, lips, eyes, noses (like big hairy pig snout) ears, all the gross bits that people would not eat, also loads of fat, some gristle etc, I would never eat a hot dog again after seeing that.

There are all beef hot dogs, or turkey, or chicken, or regular. And when you buy regular hot dogs, it's basically a conglomeration of all the leftover scraps of various meats. Hate to break it to you, but there may even be some questionable body parts in there that no company would disclose.

Hot dogs are made of chihuahuas, yorkies, and dachsunds. No, just kidding. But they are made of miscellaneous parts of the pig that cannot be cut into sellable loins, chops, etc... I've heard that some companies use parts I don't want to think about, but I don't know for sure. Rest assured that if it says pork, it's pork. But read your labels, b/c each brand will vary in what they include. They do have to tell you in the label what's in the hot dog...Read the labels. Enjoy.

depends regular hot dogs are made from a combination of ground beef, chicken and pork, or you can get chicken hot dogs or beef hot dogs. lets just say if they didnt gind it up that way you probably wouldn't eat a hot dog...............your best bet is to get all beef kosher hot dogs such as hebrew national, or sabretts and nathans..........the quality of the "meat" is better but you pay for it at $5 a package.

* Meat
* Meat fat
* A "cereal filler" (bread crumbs, oatmeal or flour)
* A little egg white
* Spices (onion, garlic, salt, pepper, etc.)

Ever seen The Great Outdoors? I think the meat is pretty much the leftover parts that aren't sold as meat at the butcher counter.
