Depends on what state you live in. Most of them are strict on the 18 yr limit, some of them have it set at 16. Being that you are only one year older, I couldn't see how it would matter much, but what I think and what the legal system thinks are two different things. Check just to be safe. I'm sure in your minds it doesn't make you a pedophile, nor does it in mine, but someone out there who's a little off their rocker with some legal authority may see it otherwise. Worst case scenario? You wait till she's 18.

Not pedofile , it's " satigtory rape " . You'll have to wait . A relationship is not all about sex . But I understand that the guys get a little curious and want to go to the next level . You need to respect her wishes and her parents wishes . My boyfriend's mom was always so protective and once she called my mom and told on me. I was so mad , you got somethin ' to say it to my face !!
I was in the same situation because in school I was older than most of the other students in my class , I repeated the first grade.
Just be patient .

It relies upon the place your from you may google it, yet in maximum states i think the regulation could take influence from a three 3 hundred and sixty 5 days distinction we could say she grow to be 15 and youthful and your 18 which could be unlawful yet im extraordinarily constructive which you're ok, 17 and 18 could be criminal...

Not really because you are so close in age, but thats no reason to have sex, there is nothing wrong with waiting. But I guess it would depend on your state's laws on the age of consent and maximum age difference between 2 people.

In Canada it's legally wrong. Somewhere else you're going have to check that out on the Internet further as each country is different about this kind of stuff.

Unfortunatley, you better maintain a good relationship with the parents. A former boss of mine, and a good friend, STILL has to register as a 'Sex Offender" when all he did was turn 18 AND piss off her parents.

No you wouldn't! If you both consent to it YOU ARE FINE. But it would be better to wait til she is 18 since that is the age of legal consent. OK?

I don't think that you would be considered a pedophile, but it is illegal as you are an adult and she is a minor. I would wait until she is 18 as well, to be safe.

no. but i think that its technically illegeale bc its considered statutory rape if ur 18+ and shes not 18 yet but i doubt that any girl would try to get u in trouble for it.
