Not their government....

Only the people... and the support of our nation can make that possible.

And the way things are going, I don't see that happening anytime soon.

...That's what needs to happen though! Mexican illegals need to go home and protest their OWN corrupt infrastructure-- Not destruct our's.

The only way Mexico is going to succeed, is if their own citizens stand up to the "power" controlling the corruptive-ness and the land.

Mexican citizens could more than anything overthrow their government.. And, the U.S. would be more than willing to correct Mexico's problems..

This would not only help our nation and support the beliefs of the United States citizens, but award Mexico the chance to actually get back up on it's feet again and prove to the world it can grow economically as a 1st world country.

The main problem is that you say Mexico as if the people have anything to do with the government. Will the Mexican government ever fix their country? I don't think so. I'm Hispanic-American and know all too well the political status of most Latin American countries. The problem is not the people or the illegal immigration, it's the government officials that are put into office.

It seems easy to think that the people should just rise up and fight for change because they crave it so. However, the main problem is that Latin American governments have become corrupt through corrupt and tyrannical leaders... Look at Peru and Argentina... did you know that the torture methods used to shut activists up during the 1960s-80s we're taught to them by American military schools? If you're an American like me you should worry more about our government and not Mexico's.

It's possible. They've got a colorful third world country going, wonderful accents (especially the capital's dwellers), folk dancers, resorts, movie comedies and even some oil. But they still have 3 problems to solve. 1. Mexican males have to be able to stay in a room with a female without either attacking her through uncontrollable lust or annoying her some other way. 2. They have to be able hold one election that doesn't look like a cross between Madison Avenue expedient lies (brainwashing) and top-to-bottom corruption. And 3. they simply have to pass a law saying any one person can have only one (1) child with a partner in a lifetime unless he/she can pay for the next one, say with 56% expenses up front. Unless they can tell the Pope he's full of bad ideas, they can never get much better--all they can do is keep getting more numerous and more frustrated!

No! The ones in power don't think there is a problem or at least they like it the way it is.
Mexicans aren't a very innovative people but then non of the countries that were under the Spanish colonies ever were.
Even today non have a thriving or slightly good economies. Spain has somewhat but then it is under the EU.
Mexico is problem and if they don't control their birth rate it will only get worse for them and worse for us.

They sure will. Once they send the ones they don't want up here to us, they'll have a great country. Maybe we should move down there. Maybe we'll be illegal immigrants in their country. I wonder how they'd like that? If I go to an ER there will it be paid for by the tax payers of Mexico?

No! It looks like we will have to disarm their WMD program ourselves. Screw diplomacy, its high time we nuked them once and for all. They kicked out the inspectors, and they keep threatining us w/ all of their missles and great cocaine. The whole country should be another national park to the US just like Canada!

I doubt it. I suggest that the US donate Texas to Mexico as a good faith gesture, so that they will work harder to make their country relevant to more of their people.
