This can be difficult for both you and the person trying to convert you...it depends on how strongly you both feel about the subject...how strong is their passion to try and convert and how strong is your conviction to not let them go further with you. Growing up in a Christian household and still hanging onto some ideals, the answer may lie in "how" you tell this person and helping...yeah, helping them "understand" why you are not interested in conversion. This happened to me before and this is what I told them..." I understand your passion for Christianity and I truly sense that you feel I would have an enhanced purpose as a Christian...and for that I thank you. But I have to let you know that I understand that God is great, and he has provided us with free will to make our own choices when the choice is right...for each of us as individuals. Much like a beautiful tree, God has given us the power and the many pathways to choose our salvation. Wether your pathway to salvation is the right choice is only my own God given choice. Im sure he would not disagree. I will find the pathway because God has given us so many choices, like there are many branches within a tree, all striving for light to prosper." Overall, basically you have to become the "teacher" and help them understand your free will.

They probably won't stop on their own - part of the dogma of some denominations is to convert others.

Basically I think the only thing you can do is be polite and tell them "I'm not interested, thank you" and walk away.

Don't get into a "My God is better than your God" discussion - that's an unwinnable argument. Tell them that you have your own faith that you find spiritually fulfilling, and hope that they find their path as fulfilling.

Just my $0.02.

Your own faith is more important. Even more important then the faith is love-bond with this planet and the existences in totality.Religious colours become political in movement. God does not play politics but judges the world with love for love.

Speaking as a Christian, if someone tells me they don't want to hear about my religion I don't talk to them about it. If I want to speak with someone about Christianity I ask them first if it would be alright. If the answer is no then I let it go. If there is a Christian that is trying to force our religion on you tell them politely that their God doesn't want them to try and force you to convert. He wants you to choose and your choice is no. I have various friends of several different religions and we agree to disagree and we don't talk about religion when we are together. There are more things to talk about than which God who is serving. Why argue when there is so many other things we could do?

good question... if they are your friend, i would just talk to them and try to explain it to them. tell them that they dont have to share your beliefs, just respect the fact that they are different form the ones they believe.

If they arent your friend.. tell them to F*ck off. I believe in god and like debating and talking about it with others, but i dont push my beliefs on others. These far right wing fundametalist and misionary christians are a big part of the reason that chritianity is getting a bad name....

Tell them that they don't have The Answer. And no, the Bible is NOT The Answer and the Final Word on anything. They may have an answer, but that does not mean you have to go along with it. That's their answer. Tell them that, then tell them that you have your answer, and that you are going to stick by your own answer, since each is equally valid in understanding the Great Mystery out there.

tell them you are happy with your faith and the way your life is making you happy. just tell them somewhere down the line you might become christian but it will only be when you are ready and for now you are happy. tell them if you turn to Christianity you will talk to them about it then but for now just say you aren't willing or ready to accept his line of thinking. this will let him think and be more at ease that maybe you will come to him to talk about his faith with him. totally rejecting the idea will probably just motivate him so just humor him with this explanation.

tell them this and ask them to disprove it
it is all backed up by ancients script far older than the bible
we were created alright but not by Gods and they were anything but holy

it was the Anunaki who created the Adams race as slaves to mine gold for them in Zimbabwe(Zimbabwe means deep deposit),together with genes from the Nordics ,who were refugees from Mars before it got knocked out of Orbit,(the Nordics ,were blond or red haired with blue or green eyes ,the ancestors of the Aryan race)

Neanderthal.homo erectus,cro-magno,and the rest all lived at the same time and in the same place ,near the mines .which are the oldest mines in the world ,they were the genetic experiments ,before they got it right and created the Adams race(homo sapian)
the story of Adam was symbolic of the whole created race
over time the symbolism got lost and assumed a literal translation

some of these extraterrestrials were extremely advanced and could create matter out of light ,and cloning and genetic engineering was not the high light of their skills
their leader was nicknamed the creator
and this was carried on to this day in the religions

the Illuminati are descendants of the nephilim who were descendant's of the Nordics who bred with daughters of the created Earthlings(Genesis talks about this)
but still they were not Gods

the Illuminati have tried to maintain control of the subsequent human race for their own devious reasons of power and need for labor ,through the created organized religions, which was the Anunaki story and Pagan gods that were blended to form the present beliefs

You might poiint out to them that our (their) duty as Christians is only to inform people about the gospel of salvation in Christ, not to persuade them. The persuasion part is supposed to be left in God's hands. On the other hand, are you sure the person is not just enthusing over his or her own relationship with Jesus?

yes this is a very good question. First be direct, telling them that the discussion based on conversion is restricted or the friendship or conversation shall cease immediately!

You dont have to convience them of your belief nor faith all of this is unneccesary!
Quick and direct works for me.
