I have run the Windows XP 64 bit platform on my system which is an AMD 2800 1.6g 400mhz Semprom 64bit processor
Asus K8V-MX motherboard
1gb DDR 400 memory
3x 200gig hard drives
It is a good operating system but very hard to get system drivers for you will find that most of you perifers drivers will not work and most manufactures will not over updated drivers due to vista release shortly I now run XP Media Center which I find is just as good hope to have been of help to you
