You could try spraying all over your yard with that bitter apple stuff or something that is used to defer animals(that would be a pain in the butt, tho) except for the path to and the area that you want him to go in. Also, clean it up often because the smell may bother him and he won't want to go near it. Ask a vet if they have any tips for this.

Depending on the size and excitability of the dog, you can purchase an exercise pen which is basically a portable "dog corral". If you have a larger dog that is inclined to push it around, you will need to anchor it. At first, you will have to stay with the dog to make sure it will not climb the fencing and escape.

well actually your basically screwed but the yard is where the dog is suppose to go. Just thank yourlucky stars that you got them to go in the yard and not in your house

I only know of one way to get a dog to not **** on your yard, walk him in your neighbors yard. lol.

you canget drops that you put on the area you want the dog to use for all over sniffing have a talk to the dog

put it on a leash,take it out to were you want it to go and wait til it goes then reward it in some way,[treats,praise,etc..] do this constantly,for about 2 wks. then try it without leash, but you still go with the dog. then let it go on its on.keep rewarding,and problem should be solved...

You should have trained your dog when it was a pup. If you got it as an adult, for get it.

beat it everytime it goes on the yard. afterwards show him to his shyt area.
