Get ready to be the poop inspector! My cats always did things like this & they always came out the next day. Give her some canned food, so things will move along quicker & smoother.....some tuna in OIL works best,OR sardines/kippers in oil, but you can just use plain canned cat food if that's all you have around the house. Inspect the poop by using a plastic bag over your hands & breaking the poop up in search of the rubber band. If you don't find it within 3 days, you should call your vet. Keep the cat inside until you find the piece in question.

Cats swallow the strangest things when they are outside and out of our sight! Dont panic!
Is a small cat swollows a big rubber band then please dont wait! Vet time express! But if its a big cat and its a small rubber band, its likely it will pass if he dint choke and acts normal.
Give him a good dose of laxatone or somehairball remedy and keep a close eye on him.
If he refuses to eat and drink and acts funny, see a vet as soon as possible.
My freind's cat swallowed aneedle and they (the vet) had to open his stomach to remove it. He is ok, by the way.

Do you read Get Fuzzy? It's in the funny pages, and the cat character has a rubberband eating habit. Very funny.
But before you read that, you should call your vet. That's a potentially life-threatening issue.

Oh, yeh. Cat poop is almost a delicacy for canines. My canines think of the clutter bins are buffets. I could lock them in a separate room with a cat door and the different in my tub. If the domestic dog eats too lots at a time, it could vomit and/or diarrhea.

No, I would take her to an emergency vet clinic immediately. I agree with the previous answer that it could possibly by twisting & turning as it travels along bind the intestine & cause an intestinal obstruction.

its probably fine seeing as how she hasnt choked i would make an effort to crawl around the house on your hands and knees and cat proof your house . just to be on the safe side give your vet a call and see what he thinks. rather safe than sorry

Possibly, but if there are any signs whatever of discomfort, difficulty in poo-ing, blood from either end, get her to a vet as fast as you can. Hide the rubber bands; cats love them but they do kill them .

She will, but elastics are dangerous - they can wind around the intestines. Really try to keep stuff like that away from cats.
