I am searching for a reliable hospital/clinic for my parents, and would like to know any certifications I should look for a legitimate, reliable hospital/clinic.

If it's a hospital or clinic you need to know the Dr.'s status. This is when you need to find out if the Dr. has passed his boards. Most people don't realize that they can practice without doing so in some states. I believe you can look it up on the Internet. Other than that you can call the hospital or clinic to see. Asking questions is a right you always have. Find out how long the Dr. has practiced and where he has practiced in the past. The schools where he trained can help if you are up on that and even then you can get a bad Dr. and a good one may not have all that going for them. So, I think asking people around you that know the Dr. and the type of care you want can be your best bet. Good luck!

You don't want to look for certifications, thats the wrong track to take. All hospitals are certified. If you want great service, look for the hospital's reputation.
