Good question. It’s true what you say about the works of the flesh, and anger is definitely something which must be kept in check.
Jesus Christ, when a man on earth, gave us the perfect example. The records of his life do not recount one occasion where he had a fit of uncontrolled anger or where he allowed the lawlessness, rebelliousness, and harassment of the enemies of God to upset his spirit and cause him to reflect such a thing toward his followers or others. On one occasion he was “thoroughly grieved” at the insensibility of the hearts of the Pharisees and looked upon them with indignation. His next act was an act of healing. (Mr 3:5) When he, in another instance, drove out those who were defiling God’s temple as well as violating the Law of Moses by making Jehovah’s house a house of merchandise, it was through no uncontrolled, unjustified fit of anger. Rather, the Scriptures show that it was properly directed zeal for the house of Jehovah.—Joh 2:13-17.
The foundation for fine Christian fruitage is noted at 1 John 5:3, which states: “This is what the love of God means, that we observe his commandments.” And a basic commandment is this: “You must love your neighbor as yourself.” (Matthew 22:39) Thus, God’s true servants must have love for their neighbors regardless of their race or nationality.—Matthew 5:43-48; Romans 12:17-21.
Especially must God’s servants have love for those who are their spiritual brothers. “If anyone makes the statement: ‘I love God,’ and yet is hating his brother, he is a liar. For he who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot be loving God, whom he has not seen. And this commandment we have from him, that the one who loves God should be loving his brother also.” (1 John 4:20, 21) That love, Jesus said, would be an identifying mark of true Christians: “By this all will know that you are my disciples, if you have love among yourselves.”—John 13:35; see also Romans 14:19; Galatians 6:10; 1 John 3:10-12.
Brotherly love is the “glue” that binds God’s servants in unity: “Clothe yourselves with love, for it is a perfect bond of union.” (Colossians 3:14) And true Christians must be at unity with their brothers worldwide, for God’s Word commands: “You should all speak in agreement . . . There should not be divisions among you . . . Be fitly united in the same mind and in the same line of thought.” (1 Corinthians 1:10) To maintain this love and unity on a global scale, God’s servants must be neutral in the political affairs of this world. Jesus said: “They are no part of the world, just as I am no part of the world.”—John 17:16.
Jesus explained that it is not simply what a person says that makes him His disciple but what he does. Some people claim that Jesus is their Lord, but if they are not doing the will of his Father, he says: “I will confess to them: I never knew you! Get away from me, you workers of lawlessness.” Matthew 7:22,23 see also Titus 1:16; 1 John 2:17.
Hope this helps.

I think the verse you quoted above tells it all: By their fruits you will recognize them.
But it's sometimes difficult for the blind to recognize which fruits are bad. I would like to know where you found your list of "works of the flesh." Some of those things you cite are definitely rotten fruits, but some are not. As an example, 2000 years ago the followers of Jesus were considered a "sect," an offshoot of Judaism as practiced at that time. I don't understand why you've included the practice of spiritism as a "work of the flesh" when the Word of God would never have been recorded in it's material form if the people who wrote it did not receive and write down the Words of a Spirit - the Spirit of God. Would speaking with the Spirit of God be described as a "work of the flesh."

I don't think you should misquote Scripture. Here is the passage in its entirety:
Mat 7:15 But beware of the false prophets who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inside they are plundering wolves.
Mat 7:16 From their fruits you shall know them. Do they gather grapes from thorns, or figs from thistles?
Mat 7:17 So every good tree produces good fruits, but the corrupt tree produces evil fruits.
Mat 7:18 A good tree cannot produce evil fruits, nor a corrupt tree produce good fruits.
Mat 7:19 Every tree not producing good fruit is cut down and is thrown into fire.
Mat 7:20 Then surely from their fruits you shall know them.
But, never the less, what you stated otherwise are works of the flesh, it is true, but again, you misunderstood the passage.
Gal 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are clearly revealed, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lustfulness,
Gal 5:20 idolatry, sorcery, enmities, fightings, jealousies, angers, rivalries, divisions, heresies,
Gal 5:21 envyings, murders, drunkenness, revelings, and things like these; of which I tell you beforehand, as I also said before, that the ones practicing such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
Anger here is "wrath" which is fierce anger. These characteristics should not be found in a believer. Yet, Jesus Himself got angry, in righteous anger. I think He represented Christianity rather well.

Good question. First of all keep in mind that we are all human and inclined to follow the flesh. The key is in the word "practice" which means a way of life. We will all get angry occasionally and say things/do things we will regret. But we repent and we don't "practice" those things all the time.
It is not always easy to recognize a true prophet. The 1st rule is that his prophecy should come to pass. And as Matthew states you won't find their fruit to be the practice of the fleshly works.

John sent his followers to find out about Jesus. He said "Go your way, and tell John what things ye have seen and heard; how that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached. And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.
A true will not only heal, he will lead others to follow the example of Christ 'to feed the hungry, to clothe the naked, to provide for the widow, to dry up the tear of the orphan, to comfort the afflicted, whether in this church or in any other, or in no church at all, wherever he finds them'.

First n foremost a true messenger of God is Love and Humility personified.
He is one with the infinite power or music of God called as Word God in your scriptures.
He is one who sees the same power of God working in everybody and in no way considers himself superior to anyone.
Being a mouth piece of God he has the power to open the single eye thro which we can see we are children of light.
All the weary souls who are thirsting for emancipation take shelter under his lotus feet &he grants a 1st hand experience of our self(out of body exp or soul exp)
in the very 1st sitting itself.
Commisioned as he is from above he does not see our faults but voluntarily out of the law of compassion ,forgiveness n mercy grants general clemency for all our accumulated sins.
Just as air, sunlight,n water are free gifts of God the way back to God is also a free gift of God by a Perfect Godman.
He never charges any fees to grant the spiritual experience by which we really know the truth as it is.
He gives or embeds a part of his consciousness or soul within us at the time of initiation into the science of the beyond n does not leave us till the end of the World or till he escorts us to the abode of truth which is our true home.
Once he accepts us he protects us in every way physically, financially, emotionally, family wise, and in every other way n like a faithful friend n guide prepares us &escorts us to the kingdom of God of which we know nothing.
Its only when the true prophet or Master Soul accepts us we realize our religion in the true sense n see that all Perfect Masters spoke of the same truth always.
There are so many other things like ,he earns by the sweat of his brow n does not live on the charity of others.
He is chaste in &out.
Usually the Perfect Master Soul is only 1 as he is commisioned by God to take back souls back to God.
Even if 6 billion people go to him he has the authority, competence, source n the resource to put the situation in control bcos he is not the body but the Word of God made flesh. He transcends man made divisions like sex, caste, colour, social status etc n sees all as God"s children.
He knows n fully acts as a servant of suffering humanity. He tells us n shows us that the human birth is the highest in God's creation n that we should not waste a single moment to realize ourselves as soul n know our relationship with God.
He is an adept in the Science or the mysteries of the beyond
n knows fully well the twists n turns on our great tiring n ardous journey.
He teaches us the art of dying while living thats leaving the boy at will and entering the wonderful kingdom of God of which we know nothing as of yet.He says seeing is believing n the experience is verifiable by anyone who thirsts for God.
