He wants to date, but for some reason i am really nervous. I have never had a serious relationship before. So why am I nervous??

im the same. i want something really bad then when it comes i dont know what to do with it, just take the plunge i say. your young you'll bounce back, and even if it ends badly and it hurts like hell you'll be able to say at least i tried and if you dont do it believe me, yoiu WILL be wondering for the rest of your life how would it have turned out...

You are nervous because he has revealed his feelings to you. This could possibly turn into a relationship. These feelings are normal, you mentioned that you had feelings for this guy for a long time. The moment of truth has arrive for you, be yourself and go out with him.

Just relax, everyone usually feels nervous about their first relationship. I think you should go for it if you really like each other, but I recommend taking it slow and really get to know one another before getting too emotionally connected.

Your nervous maybe because you're still shocked by just knowing that he likes you...I know it's really shocking to learn that this guy you liked for a long time turns out to like you too.....it's ok to get nervous, it's normal, and it's your first...he might be nervous too you know...well, just go for it and enjoy!

Its all natural! You're supposed to be nervous, mainly because you're excited and you don't really know what to expect. I am in the exact same situation as you, except I haven't told the guy how I feel about him and he hasn't told me how he feels about me.
