And if there is, will i be put on some sort of a watch list for visiting? does anyone just happen to know off the top of thier head and could give me a range for, lets say, a healthy, 19 year old kidney?

i'm not looking to sell my kidneys, and it is not a joke. i'm genuinely curious. i couldn't find it with a google search so i thought i'd ask here. truthfully i don't see why it should offend anyone to ask this question, even if they do have a family member in need of a kidney, i'm not making fun of anyone, and i'm not making light of someone in that situation. and while i can't imagine what you are going through, my sister has type one diabetes, and as you know kidney failure is a very real possibility with diabetes. but i don't see how being curious about what kidneys are going for shows any disrespect to anyone.

Wow you must be desperate, so willing to wake up in a tub of ice in some seedy motel.... that is if you wake up at all!!! black market?? im pretty sure thats how those run...

Don't go the "black market" route. If you need money that
badly, find a job and get your money legally. You may need
that kidney later in life (since you're only 19 now). Kidneys
are an important part of your body and are there for a
purpose, and surgery is not good for your body either....
always a chance for infection or worse with adhesions
growing later to cause you problems. Our health is so
important......don't sell it away.

omg i cant believe you asked a question like this. i'm a family member for someone thats in need of a kidney. he's the love of my live. and you want to joke about selling a kidney. no upstanding doc will do that kind of surgry nor will they use a kidney thats been taken like that. til you been in our shoes you shouldn't joke about it. its not funny. 1000's of people die while waiting for a kidney.
