Question

Are some women so shy that when a guy looks your way and smiles you actually put your head down or look in a different direction? Is that a sign of dis-interest or just shy predominantly? Are women intimidated by cute guys? I know each person is different but a lot seem like they are intimidated.

there are actually alot of girls who are like that. I'm actually one of them and cute guys are intimidating. You cute guys are nice to look at but y'all can make a girl a little nervous, more than most guys do, especially when you look our way. some girls, including me, have some insecurities and we look at every little thing. Instead of going with the flow, we wonder why you're starring. Is it because we look weird, and if we think we look ok, we start wondering if our hair is out of place, if our clothes are good enough, if we look fat or if we look good? Its especially hard to concentrate and act normal when we have to keep from blushing and hiding it fast. A girl who is a little insecure might seem intimidated, and that may be right but it can also be that she only needs a little time to get use to you. Besides, no offense to you, but cute guys are sketchy to some girls because they can be charming, good looking, nice and all, but how many girls does he charm. A lot of the cute ones I know cheat on girls very often because some girls think they're worth it because of the physical attraction, and the rest of the girls who feel they have to protect their hearts aren't confident enough at times to look you in the eye. We may want to be with you, but we would rather not take the hassle of crying over what you could do wrong to us and just look down or away. If you see a girl do that to you, though, she might like you a little, otherwise she would have look straight through you. Give her a chance. If you spend some time with her, she might have a mesmerizing smile. Take a chance cutie. Thanx for asking the question.

some women are embarassed by the fact that a nice looking guy looked their way, some are intimidated, some are just not interested...
it varies with the woman, but i would say shyness has a lot to do with the looking away

Some may do it because they feel shy or intimidated, but I do it when I don't want the attention, or the guy is ugly.

well, most of the times i am shy, but for girls that i see doing that its because some girls are afraid of eye contact. or they may think that, you guys are saying (she is so into me) so its not a matter of being intimidated. i put my head down because i am not an eye contact person

Some are shy, just like some men are. Others are intimidated and find it difficult in making direct eye contact. Then there's others who can't remove their eyes from someone they adore......

I do have a habit of automatically looking away from a guy when he makes eye contact cuz 90% or more of the guys who flirt are not at all attractive.
But for that other 10%, I usually do a double take and take a second look.

some girls are shy and do look away when guys smile at them other girls are caught off guard and look away becuase they don't know what else to do some girls are insecure and look away because they don't think your really interested usually even if a women isn't interested she won't just look away she will be polite and smile back or she will give u a dirty look

By looking down we are being flirtatious. We may also just be shy. It doesn't mean we're not interested.
