if she is pregnant, her vulva will be swollen, dogs gestation period is 60 days. if she won't leave you alone, could be sign. get her area, or welping box to have puppies in. does she look like she is in labor? heavy breathing, contractions.? give her space to give birth and stand by her if she needs help, also, have vet number on hand if she has trouble. what type of dog is she, is father bigger than her? that could be problem as pups could be to big for her to pass. hope all goes well, let me know. ~ Sherry

If the blood came from her bowels she needs to see a vet asap. If you are unsure have her ly down and lift her leg and look.

If not sounds like she is in labor.

What I do with my females is put a box near my bed and let her have the pups their. That way she is close if she needs some help. And I have had to help many times.

When she is done having her pups I then move them to where she will be raising her pups.

If possible I think it is best to stay awake with her while she gives birth. Put in a movie and just keep an eye on her and the pups.

What type of dog is she?

It sounds like she is ready to deliver her pups, but there may be something wrong - bloody runny waste is not normal. You really should consult a vet about what's going on here.

She may be standing by you for comfort(as any creature would:)).
Sounds like she has the runs as we would say. Ask your vet or walmarts for something for her.
I would say it's just her time to have the pups. Many dogs have this problem just before birth
It could be because it's her first time.

she could possibly going into labor. If she continues to act this way I would take her to the vet to rule out a C-section

She could be starting to go into labor. There could be difficulties...so I would have her seen just in case...because if there is something wrong...she or her pups could die.
