Israel does not get $20 billion from the US Federal Gov't. Quoting a Socialist website is not a credible source. In fact such a claim is a outright lie. Congress authorized $2.46 billion economic and military aid to Isreal. Since 1948, over $93 billion of US federal monies have passed to Israel in the form of grants, loans, and direct payments. Of the loans, Israel has paid back $75 billion. That leaves $18 billion dollars over 58 years that Israel has kept. Most of that money found its way back into the US economy through defense related purchases. What private persons or corporations give Israel is none of our business. Americans are free to give their money to any foreign entity that is not an enemy of the state.

Israel does not deserve to get money from the US, and I don't understand why it does. I can't believe some of the hard-hearted people who answer these questions each night. They pi** and moan about a few dollars of their taxes going to "illegals" (most of whom actually WORK for rich, white, Republicans anyway,), they talk about the people who "live below sea level"--as if most of those people could just get up and move anyway. (Most of the Netherlands is below sea level; maybe all the Dutch should leave their country.) But I don't hear anyone complaining about the filthy rich who choose to live on cliffs and mudslide areas, on earth fault-lines, etc. (Isn't this the home of the free????)
I'm angry that MY taxes go to other countries that are perfectly able to take care of themselves, that MY taxes go to a war I don't approve of, that MY government worries more about the democracy in other countries than it does about the abuses of the electoral process in the US. I'm angry that the hard-working, tax-paying citizens of THIS country can't get good and timely help when they need it! I could go on and on, but then I'd be ranting, and I surely don't want to sound like one of "those people." (Fill in your own prejudice---I know you will anyway, dear readers....)

Israel shouldn't get a penny from the USA. If they are God's truly chosen people I am sure he will come to their aid, it's not like they commited crimes against humanity in their latests attacks, right?

What about New Orleans? $15 million spent on two overpasses that helped gamblers get to Bally's riverboat casino. That came from New Orleans' levee funds. They get more money from the govn't than any other state for levee and roads and such. They question should be "What does RAY NAGEN do with the money"?

First of all who in their right mind would want to live in an area that's below sea level, Why would anyone want that. you have to know that sooner or later your luck will run out. i feel sorry for everything that happened with Katrina and all. But we cant lay the blame on one man.
