"don't get your panties in a bunch"

the people who would actually utter that phrase are people who I don't want even thinking about the fact that I am wearing panties... makes my skin crawl!

"Things could be worse" ...Yes, I know things can be worse...a whole lot worse but for right now, what I am going through is bad enough for me at that time and knowing that things can be worse doesn't make what's happening at the time any easier to deal with.

I also hate all corporate lingo. The next person who tells me I should think outside the box while pushing the envelope in order to leverage a new paradigm gets my foot where the sun don't shine!

"Have a good one"
"No problem" when used in response to Thank You

Any sort of corporate euphemism...

...such as "thinking outside the box" (= we're too cheap to do this, so figure out a way to do it)

..."streamline our operations" (= get rid of some expensive people)

..."realign our goals" (= we f*cked up before, but now we have a different strategy)

I agree with the gentleman who refers to the corporate euphemisms. Stretching the envelope, thinking outside the box, etc. Why not just say be creative or come up with new ideas.

"You're just having a bad day" (said when some ******* moron asshole client just isn't getting what he/she wants out of you)

"You have a bad attitude" (which really means, "you're right but I just can't admit it.")

"Don't take it personally" (which really means, "You should just sit there and let someone else **** all over you.")

"You can't EVER admit that you're wrong" (said by people who are just bound and determined to prove that YOU are the one who is wrong when THEY are really the ones who are in the wrong)

"Two wrongs don't make a right" (which really means, again, that you should just sit there and take someone else's ****. Also, it's said just to protect perpetrators).

"Revenge backfires" (said to keep you from avenging yourself. Again, just said to try and keep people from taking revenge against those who deserve it...the insane desire to protect perpetrators).

"I know you don't want to hear this but......" (usually predicates something meant to insult you)

"Now that's the bottom line" when they are being an as*hole and refuse to talk things out. They demand you accept their statement and want you to shut up because they are controlling.
