Do you know of any good, academic books on the subject? I'm going to do a paper on Zoroastrian Apocalyptic theology. I'm very fascinated by the subject, just wondered if anyone had any insight about resources. Thanks.

This was written in the 9th century, but should give some insight on the traditional philosophy.

The Jews inherited many concepts from the Zoroastrians--later the Christians did from the Jews. The Jews took many concepts from ancient Iranians during their exile.

What a great question!

Your best bet would be to go to Google Scholar and do a search--I just did one and pasted the link below.

You will probably need to have access to a university or seminary library to get journals and books that you need.

Would love to read your paper when it's done! Best wishes!!
