If your burner is a DVD burner, then no problem since they support data storage just as CD-R's do - just a lot more space (4 gigs instead of 700 megs) . . . . unless you want to burn them as tracks and play them on a regular CD player. In that case, you really need CD-R's because most CD players will only play those.

the +/- r has no relation to quality. They are just different formats. Look at the functionality of your burner. See what it supports. Most burners support multiple formations. If it says DVD +/- r/rw, your oke. If it just say DVD+ r/rw, then yes, you will need different format.

You can, if you have a DVD Burner. You should also know that you can listen to them on your CD player.

That all depends on the burner itself, and the player you will be playing on. Usually DVD-R's are used for a different purpose anyways, I would suggest you use regular CD-R's or if it needs to be on a DVD, than a DVD+R would work
