I am amazed by an interesting common thing between most religions.
That is the concept of a saviour type figure. It is a common thing
both in all Western and Eastern Religions--theistic(Christianity,Judaism,Islam,Hinduism,Zoroastrianism) or atheistic(Buddhism). Christian believe in the second coming of Jesus,Muslims believe in the coming of Mahdi(mentioned by the name Muhammed in authentic Hadithes), Jews believe in the coming of the Messiah(not Jesus),Hindus in the last(10th) incarnation of
God--Kalki Avatar and even Buddhists in the coming of the last Buddha--Maitreya.he Zoroastrian Messiah, Saoshyant, will be conceived and born of a virgin mother to guide the pious and destroy the evil. As the Gathas says: "Zaratust went near unto his wife Hvov three times, and each time the seed went to the ground; the angel Neryosang received the brilliance and strength of that seed, delivered it with care to the angel Anahid, and in time will blend it with a mother"

In the very begining the Almighty creator of us all, Jehovah created a spirit person like himself Jesus. By means of him all other things in heaven and earth were created. Including millions and millions of other spirit sons. They were together for aeons.
Before the earth was ever thought of. Job 38:7 theses angels all cried out in joy when the earth was created and was very much interested in it. Some came down from heaven and sinned and lived with the daughters of men. Jude 6
The demons believe and shutter. The best way to hid the true religion is to make many more religions. Similar.
They knew the prophecys about Jesus even using astrologers to try and let the king know about the messiah. The devils attempt to get him killed. If that doesn't work they come up with a budda, or a mohamman or super man.
These are all attempts to take away the fact that Jesus was the messiah and bought back for us what adam lost a perfect human life. Now he is our father not Adam and we have a chance for eternal life. The demons don't want you to know that.

You might like to read Praeparatio Evangelica by Eusebius (265 - 339 AD). He put forth the idea that the pagan religions as well as ancient philosophies are reflective of man's struggle to come an understanding of the truth, a truth which "has been revealed whole and entire, once and for all, by Christ." This idea wasn't really new in the 3rd century when Eusebius wrote. St Justin Martyr (100-164 AD) wrote about these similarities as well. I believe he saw these univeral connections of truth being fully realized in Christianity, when God revealed his saving plan by becoming man.

Back when I was in Highschool, one of my classes did a field trip to the various places of worship in the area, & then for homework we were all to write down everything they had in common & everything that they differed upon.
It wasn't until after I handed in my paper, that it occurred to me that 1 interesting similarity, that you just mentioned(don't know why it took so long to come to me): That everyone was waiting for a Messianic Figure.
BTW: I have always thought the term "atheistic religion" to be an oxymoronic term. Taking into consideration that Buddhism has numerous deities, I describe it as a polytheistic religion.
I do, however, believe that there are some religions that atheists are still able to practice. Buddhism being one of them, & Judaism(a monotheistic religion)being another.

check out the origin of the egyptian god Horus, practically the same as the birth of jesus and written ages before the torah that inroduced satan.
the vikings had a list of commandments similar to the ten commandments! how interesting is that? also take into account EVERY religeion has a creation story with a flood. probably it cal comes down to people are aware of good and evil acts and the consequences of them. the rest is culture and a leap of faith you make on your own. ever notice how in every religeon the god(s) reflect the cultures that introduce them? and by the way, what was the hebrew god doing on mt. sinai in EGYPT?????????? oy!

You gave your own answer. So what is the question now?
Your information above does not have to be in agreement with every religion.
The prophet of Islam said he was the last one and there will be no one else and mankind will have to believe in what he leaves behind.

there is just one similarity, the mutual digital warfare: the argument as to that's the actual faith that each and one and all might desire to stay with. this could be a prevalent similarity. something is chaos with the sky-extreme form of religions in this international.

adam and eve were the first parents....the savior was promised to them in the garden of eden....the story, about the garden and the savior to come, stayed about the same thoughout the generations, no matter where people migrated, establishing new cultures or areas...over time the story changed a little, but the main idea was still there.

One thing for sure - there is a second coming of God. Real question is which one do you believe that will get you saved when it happens.
