You need a total of 39 cents in postage for the first ounce. If you only have 37-cent stamps, you need to buy a 2-cent stamp at the post office - or overpay by using two of your 37s, thus making a 35 cent conribution to the U.S. Postal Service. That is okay for convenience one time, but if you have a bunch of 37s, go to the post office and buy enough 2-cent stamps to go with all the 37-cent stamps you have.

What to mail yourself or a letter?

If the letter is less than 7 regular sheets of paper. 1 Stamp it doesn't matter where you send it in the US it's still the same.
Unless it is more than an ounce.

If its just a regular letter sized envelope with only about 3 pieces of paper in it, you only need one stamp--the 39 cent ones (they are 39 cents, right?)

It doesnt matter WHERE you send it to--it only matters how much is WEIGHS
Peace

It's more, how heavy is your mailed item? They say if it's going to be more than a pound then two or more, just weight it at the post office.
