To lose someone you love, either through death or divorce is an experience I made way too often. My first husband left me after 8 years for an other woman. Out of this painful experience I married way too early the second husband. First I thought through this love I've come over the first one, but I did not. It was a delusion. After 14 years I ran away with No. 3, I thought this is the one. He will cover all my pain, but he cheated me again and again, I was ready to die. Now with No. 4 I know, nobody can make me to get over him and him and him, but God. I've committed my life to Jesus, He heales all my wounds and gives me hope and help for a bright future. If I had only known then, what I know today !!! Everything would be different. But I did not know the bible and all the rules for good relationsships. But now I know, and learn every day and find out more and more that what the media teaches us - it sucks!! There is only one truth and one way to succeed. Do following:
1. Allow God to come into your life through the Holy Spirit. Jesus died for you and for me and he paid the price for all our sins. You and I, we are forgiven.
2. Forgive all the people who hurt you. (This you cannot do allone, but when you allowed Jesus to come into your heart, He will give you the supernatural strength to do it).
3. Pray for your healing and that you can forget, and God will answer your prayer.
4. Meet with other christians and get good biblical teaching to avoid a no. 2 or 3 or 4 ..... relationship.
May God help you to get over him/her!!!

If you still love the person its really hard to get over him.. as long as you just keep yourself busy. Like go out. And try not to be home alone more often.

Take some time to figure you out. Then move on and start dating, get out in the world. You'll find someone. Take your time though.
