Your parents are trying to protect you as mine did me, ask them if you can have a guy over that you like and they can supervise i know that sounds o 12 yr oldish but remember your parents are just looking out for you and if you have a problem with staying home with you b/f if you get one then they have a reason not to let you because trust has to be made before you can get into that, just obey your parents it is for your best interest!! Focus on SCHOOL

Hi, when my daughter was 16 she also wanted to date. We talked it over, told her that it was ok to go to supervised parties with both girls and boys, but that her education mattered the most at this time in her life. She went out a lot with friends, and today at 21 she has told us that she is glad she was not involved with just 1 person, and that now she is concentrating on her futur and that a relashionship will come with time after her college degree. So there is no rush, have fun, you will not regret it.

First, by word and action, prove you are responsible and mature. Second, suggest group dates, where several couples, ones your parents know, can get together.
Third, if it's a specific guy, let you parents get to know him. Let your parents meet his parents.
Fourth, ask. Don't beg. If the answer is 'no', don't whine, cry or stomp out of the room. See the first step.

Just go ask em. They have their reasons. The worst they could say is "no dating." At least you'll have the peace of mind about why they think you're too young
