You are correct that crazy does not have a religion. As far as Christians bombing abortion clinics, that group is misnamed as well. It's also an oxymoron to say a Christian is responsible for death, so I say that those people calling themselves Pro Life are misnamed. They actually should call themselves Anti-Abortionists.
How can you say you care about life as Christ did, and that's what the name of Christian would denote, and people get killed when they bomb a clinic or stab an abortionist or the mother of an unborn baby dies trying to struggle with no food to eat? That's not caring about Life. Crazy definitely claims no denomination.

If you ask me, atheism is a religion... it's just a religion based on not believing what other's believe.

I believe that anything is possible, but that nothing is probable. It is very possible that Allah wants me to kill non believers... It's very possible that Jesus died on the cross for my sins... It's even possible that there is no god and we are some kind of evolutionary fluke. NONE are very likely.

The truth is that no one truely knows where we come from.. where we've been... or where we're going. Deciding to be an atheist is the same as deciding to convert to Islam. It's trading a belief system for another.

And all these decisions do nothing but create a division between people. Give us another way to say we're different from everyone else, better in some way. In reality, God or no God it doesn't matter. Because fighting over it makes no sense... if you're right, God already knows and you will be part of the 'chosen' or whatever.

You will never convince someone with strong beliefs that they are wrong. You shouldn't waste your time, your breath, your energy, or your thoughts on it. Llive your life the way you see fit. Let others do the same.

actually is is a strategies in direction of over 2 hundred million human beings were killed through utilising socialist/ communist governments on situation that 1917. This contains the U.S., Communist China, and Nazi Germany, both for the length of conflict and in peace. Over 50 million chinese language were eliminated in China on my own in the approach the 1960's. yet another 50+ million have even killed in the approach the time that the U.S. existed. The Nazis are basically about 15 to 20 million. Then once you upload the diverse deaths from smaller socialist international places, like Cambodia, and Fascist Italy as an party, the numbers upload as a lot because the two hundred million mark. to position it into attitude, socialist have killed more desirable human beings interior the previous 100 years, then in each and each and each and each of the wars in 5000 years of human historic previous before the starting up up of WWI mixed.

Religion, belief, spirituality - whatever you want to call it - is no answer for world anything. Any set of beliefs, in the wrong mind, can cause more harm than good. Atheism is no more the answer than Christianty, Islam or paganism. I think you will find that almost all wars are religious and/or political, pending political also including monetary. Since the beginning of civilization, we have been busy try to wipe each other off the face of the earth. Perhaps the answer for world peace is get rid of the humans entirely. The earth would certainly be more at peace without us.

As you note, Stalin did not kill in the name of atheism, or for any religion. But you seem to be suggesting that his atheistic beliefs as being his motivation.

And that's where I think you go wrong.

Whether you want to accept it or not, more people - over the course of history - have been killed in the name of some god/God than for any other reason.

That said - I am not suggesting that Atheism is the answer to world peace.

WRONG. Religion has political power, and threatens any dictatorship. Theists just point out that there was bad atheists to make themselves look good. Stalin was the god of Russia. If there was no religion, people would still be killed, but not for superstition. Atheists in history knew that, and some tried to kill theists. That is not the solution. Look at history, and religion caused more deaths than anything. Atheism would help the world.

"Atheism is not the answer for world peace".

Well, no. Neither is theism, obviously. World peace depends not on whether one believes in God, Allah, or Zeus, but on whether one feels that all people are in fact people, and not some inhuman "other".

Atheism isn't the problem. Theism isn't the problem.

It's dehumanization that's the problem.

Stalin was brought up as in the Orthodox Christian church, according to many, in a harsh and abusive household and there is some evidence that he was abused by priests, while he served as an altar boy.

The history of Russia prior to the communist revolution, was one of autocratic Tsarist rule, feudalism, mass destitution and regular famines, and associated with this, the role of the Russian Orthodox Church keeping the population subservient. Religion was seen as an aid to the suppression of the poor as it is in other parts of the world where there is mass poverty today. Placating people by giving them the promise of a wonderful afterlife if they behave is part of religions hold over superstitious people! - a boon to any ruling elite.

"The rich man in his castle, the poor man at the gate"

"The meek shall inherit the earth" etc.

No. Religion has killed more people than atheists ever will. I noticed you glossed right over Hitler and Bin Laden. Selective truth maybe? Never mind that the list of people killing in the name of their religion goes on and on and on.

Excuse me, I just told the other nutjob that atheists claim NO ONE. We do not claim each other or any other non believers. We are individual people who only happen to have non belief in common, that is it. We are not a formed group like you religious people. So you and the other person are a real ignorant b*tch to even try to put your cultish group thinking on us.

But Bush is one of you so you do have to claim him, so why don't you explain why he has had many people killed of another country and our own. You all need to explain him, even Christians who are not in the U.S. because he's still one of you.

Sometimes I wish we could just form our own country someplace and not pay the rest of you any mind. We'd just keep to ourselves, banish the few bad ones that turn up to YOUR world for punishment, and we'd be living in a pretty nice comfortable society!
